Short message and some pics

Hello everybody, I'm doing fine but am very busy with work, scouts and music. So here you'll find some pics and short descriptions!

In August, September and yesterday again, I was a guest player in the party band "De Borrelnootjes", that plays party music on party occasions. It's always fun to play with them!

In September, I went to Sumava National Park in Chechia. That was amazing, huge spruce trees in comparizon with the Dutch forests. But also huge parts of the forests that were heaviliy damaged by bark beetles! In September again, we went with our scouts' party band to play at the Scout In, a gathering of 5.000 Dutch Scout leaders. That was heavy (we played one day until 1 at night) but fun, watch the pictures on http://www.scoutingzetten.nl/newsite/algemeen/fotoboek.nsf/index?openview&count=1000

In October, my poor cat Dame Noire has damaged her Achilles tendon and is out of duty for seven weeks! Luckily my parents have time and place to take care of her, but it still is quite sad... Dame Blanche is going well though!



In November, our friends group Betuwe4ever went to the Ardennes for a short holiday: watch http://betuwe4ever.blogspot.com for some nice pictures of the castle we rented!


Then, in the Netherlands, we have the ancient habit to celebrate Sinterklaas' birthday at 5th of December instead of Christmas. In November, Sinterklaas arrived in the city of Breda - I joined the lifeguards for one day as a guest of Eelco's

Winter season is coming now, so we're planning to camp again and hope for loads of snow coming!
